Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Drive the vision, strategy, and execution of UX initiatives for Walmart Business, focusing on account-related experiences.
- Use data-driven insights and user research to inform design strategies and decisions, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and business stakeholders, to deliver user-centered solutions tailored to the unique needs of B2B users.
- Lead with confidence in ambiguous environments, making sound decisions and guiding the team through uncertainty.
- Present design strategies, concepts, and outcomes to leadership and key stakeholders, effectively communicating the value of UX investments.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of UX designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and career development opportunities for team members.
- Scale the team effectively to meet the demands of a growing business.
Design Excellence
- Oversee end-to-end design processes, ensuring seamless and scalable account and membership management experiences for businesses of all sizes, from single-owner shops to enterprise and government entities.
- Maintain high standards of design quality and consistency across all touchpoints.
- Leverage metrics, analytics, and testing results to continuously iterate and improve designs.
- Stay informed on industry trends, tools, and methodologies, and implement best practices within the team.
Qualifications
Leadership
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence and align cross-functional teams toward a common vision.
- Experience building, managing, and scaling design teams.
Experience
- At least 8–10 years of experience in UX design, product design, or a related field, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in designing for complex workflows.
- Experience in eCommerce and B2B design environments strongly preferred.
Skills
- Ability to navigate and lead in ambiguous environments with clarity and confidence.
- Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions and measurable business impact.
- Expertise in using data and analytics to inform design decisions and measure success.
- Proficiency in user research, interaction design, and usability testing.
- Proficiency with design tools like Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
