Walmart, the Fortune 1, is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Global Direct Tax team as a Senior Manager, Tax – Income Tax (Accounting and Controls).
In this role, you will:
Assist in the review and oversight of global tax accounting and reporting, including calculating the effective tax rate, current and deferred tax provisions, taxes payable and related disclosures.
Assist in the global tax forecasting of the effective tax rate.
Partner with local-country tax teams to resolve tax technical issues.
Coordinate and communicate directly with other executive leadership across the business including foreign market tax teams, controllership, technical accounting, and FP&A.
Assist coordinating global tax technology transformational efforts relating to tax reporting.
Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates.
Assist coordinating global tax planning, transactional, and compliance efforts.
Support new business initiatives/launches by analyzing tax accounting implications.
Assist with tax SOX related documentation and support.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
The Ideal Candidate has:
Experience with IAS 12
Experience with OneSource Tax Provision software
8+ years of experience in income tax accounting
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Public accounting or large public company experience
Master's degree in Accounting or related field
You will also receive PTO and/or PPTO that can be used for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other purposes. The amount you receive depends on your job classification and length of employment. It will meet or exceed the requirements of paid sick leave laws, where applicable.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
