In this important global role at Walmart, you will support teamwork for internal and external events and experiences. You’ll assist with production efforts for live events while managing sourcing, best practices, and budgets. The ideal candidate has strong people skills and is aware of current trends, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while staying calm and composed.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Production and Events Strategy, this role will play a critical role in helping us deliver world-class events and tailored experiences for our target audiences while also living our values. What You’ll Do:
The Manager of Production for Event Solutions will assist in implementing the vision and execution of small and large events, building relationships with partners and suppliers to support organizational goals. This role will communicate strategies and timelines to teams and help keep leadership informed during planning, on-site execution, and resource coordination. The successful candidate will stay updated on industry trends and contribute to creativity and innovation while following best practices to improve efficiency and manage costs. The Manager will support vendor performance, address technical aspects to enhance attendee engagement, and help resolve challenges for smooth event execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists in the planning and execution of large-scale events by building relationships with key suppliers and internal partners.
Supports on-site execution, ensuring seamless resource availability and functionality, including A/V gear, stages, seating, and décor.
Collaborates with the team and contributes to Event Solutions initiatives.
Communicates event details and timelines to cross-functional teams, defines project scope, and coordinates efforts while providing regular progress updates.
Manages rehearsal schedules and assists with presentation enhancements and content management.
Conducts facility tours and reviews project milestones to support staffing plans.
Provides guidance to suppliers on stage, lighting, audio, and graphic design for optimal attendee engagement.
Ensures graphics align with branding guidelines and secures necessary approvals from leadership and stakeholders.
Monitors industry trends to identify changes in practices.
Identifies opportunities for cost efficiencies and innovation for customers.
Implements best practices and processes to support Event Solutions.
Helps resolve implementation challenges to contribute to event success.
Collaborates with cross-functional groups to address urgent situations.
Analyzes business objectives and customer needs to support project direction.
Assists in the development and implementation of business strategies and plans.
Determines resource needs and supports outcome measurement.
Identifies improvement opportunities and fosters a customer-focused environment.
Demonstrates adaptability and encourages continuous learning.

Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in event production management, including work with third-party suppliers.
Experience planning and executing large-scale events with various creative and budget considerations.
Good negotiation and relationship-building skills, with experience working with industry partners and suppliers.
Effective communication and people skills.
Ability to build relationships and use available resources effectively.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
Creative and analytical thinker.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
