The Walmart Connect Brand and Enterprise Marketing team is looking for a Cross Platform Content Management, Manager to implement and maintain an editorial calendar, actively manage content hygiene and reporting on our two key platforms, write first drafts of communications and slides for internal meetings and updates, build project timelines, help organize meetings and agendas, help prioritize and drive projects forward and document next steps to support the Content Management team and Senior Director of Brand Strategy and Enterprise Marketing and report to the Senior Manager, Marketing Planning And Strategy. The ideal candidate has superb communications skills, is highly organized and can connect dots across workstreams and teams. 

Position Description:

You will support a critical service for Walmart Connect and will contribute to our goal to guide must-buy status amongst all our main target audiences through ensuring a system where our most important marketing and educational content is organized in an editorial calendar that’s always up to date, and easily accessible internally for all to leverage. You will also help to maintain content hygiene on our important platforms, report on metrics to create a feedback loop with content creators, program team and XFN meetings to help connect dots upstream for optimal collaboration as well a partner with our project management team with a focus on project prioritization and ensuring team progress updates are efficient.

Responsibilities include:  

  • Develop a coordinated content calendar to promote Walmart Connect to various audiences through multiple platforms and formats.
  • Manage content on platforms to ensure content hygiene and optimize performance.
  • Provide editorial direction to content contributors for quality and agreement on business objectives.
  • Measure and analyze content performance and operationalize tracking and communication of impact. • Communicate project status to stakeholders and participants.
  • Facilitate brand and enterprise marketing rhythm of the business.
  • Connect editorial calendar across internal groups for seamless updates and communications.
  • Develop positioning and presentation slides for clear and effective communications across the organization, ensuring alignment with priority goals.
  • Ad hoc project management and operational projects assigned by both the Senior Manager and Senior Director. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field and 1 year's experience in marketing or related field OR 5 years'experience in marketing or related field.
  • 4+ years of business experience in editorial/content management or project management preferred. 
  • Strong communication skills to drive alignment with cross functional teams around a goal. 
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, highly independent environment and juggle multiple ongoing projects, evolving challenges, responsibilities, and relationships 
  • Able to think and act creatively, championing and implementing new ideas that contribute to the goals of the organization and the department. 
  • Passion for building organization out of chaos, entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter who is eager and effective at solving problems with a focus on structure and execution.
  • Comfortable holding team members accountable to project deadlines and identifying areas in need of support.
