Manager, Insight Consulting, Marketplace Seller Fees & Incentives GTM & Product
As a Manager on the U.S. Marketplace team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing incentives programs while also driving Product-related initiatives. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, and execution capabilities.
How you will make an impact
Partnering with the Product Team to:
- Identify opportunities to automate seller fees and incentives through analysis of user needs, existing processes, and competitive landscape.
- Build business cases to assess the value of automation and engage cross-functional stakeholders to advocate for and prioritize product initiatives.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely implementation of roadmap items, making necessary course corrections when needed.
- Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new product features.
- Support product marketing campaigns to maximize feature adoption.
- Provide operational support for new product tools as teams transition to new ways of working.
- Foster relationships with Product teams across business units to align on a holistic product vision and execute joint roadmaps.
Executing on Fees & Incentives Strategy by:
- Acting as a project manager to launch new incentive programs, from ideation and budgeting to GTM execution and performance tracking.
- Troubleshooting live incentives programs: from making strategic adjustments to GTM execution to resolving ad-hoc operational challenges.
- Designing and implementing best-in-class GTM strategies for seller fee updates and new incentive programs launches.
- Defining performance metrics, building required reporting, tracking results and proactively recommending optimizations as needed.
- Continuously identifying opportunities to enhance fees and incentives strategy, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with Walmart Marketplace’s growth objectives.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a strategy or advisory role (e.g., management consulting, strategy & operations, or similar).
- Strong communication skills, with experience in building executive-level presentations and developing strategic narratives.
- Experience working cross-functionally with multiple teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a quantitative field.
- 4+ years of experience in a strategy or advisory role (e.g., management consulting, strategy & operations, or similar).
- Experience in data analysis, generating insights, and presenting findings to senior leadership.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
- Familiarity with Product Marketing strategies and experience working with Product teams.
