Join the Walmart Health & Wellness Compliance team to support the continuing growth and development of Specialty Pharmacy services for the world’s largest retailer!  The Director – Specialty Pharmacy Compliance is a critical thought-leadership role that will be at the forefront of continuing development and growth of Walmart Specialty Pharmacy.  Reporting to the Senior Director – Pharmacy Practice Compliance, you will collaborate with Walmart Health & Wellness business partners and other functional areas to support growth within this space, lead an effective compliance program for our Specialty Pharmacy services, identify potential compliance risks associated with business strategies, and establish effective controls and compliance oversight related to those risks. 

You’ll sweep us off our feet if:

  • You are a subject matter expert in Specialty Pharmacy and related compliance concepts, with prior experience working for Specialty Pharmacies

  • You have significant experience and familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements, including Specialty Pharmacy related requirements, federal and state healthcare regulations, including State Board of Pharmacy Practice Acts, Billing Practices, Accreditation requirements, etc.

  • You are process-oriented and look for opportunities to streamline processes for improved efficiency and effectiveness

  • You have strong communication skills to interact with senior leadership and stakeholders

  • You have experience working in cross-functional teams within a corporate environment

  • You are organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • You are stimulated by challenges and are ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Improving upon the compliance program foundation – Enhance the Specialty Pharmacy compliance program structure and foundation, ensuring that all elements of an effective compliance program are in place and integrated into existing structures and processes where appropriate.

  • Establishing a roadmap for future enhancement – Identify short- and long-term compliance program initiatives, demonstrating the ability to prioritize immediate needs and plan for ongoing enhancement and evolution of the program over time.

  • Building effective relationships – Establish relationships with key stakeholders and effectively integrate with the Walmart Health & Wellness business to ensure compliance is an integral function of the operation of the pharmacy.

  • Supporting enterprise and team success – Facilitate timely identification of compliance risks and implementation of effective mitigation strategies to enable successful implementation of business initiatives. 

  • Operating with excellence – Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) that measure and monitor team performance and potential risk areas.  Set an example in managing to KPIs/KRIs, delivering excellence, presenting at all levels, and developing yourself and others.

Position is located in Orlando, FL.

Candidate must be willing to relocate to or currently reside in the Orlando, FL area.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 5 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area. 3 years’ supervisory experience. 4 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
