Perform specialized/advanced health information activities necessary to organize and maintain patient records. This role performs data integrity analysis and identity resolution tasks. Requires a high level of customer service, strong analytical, and problem-solving skills in a HIPAA-compliant environment. Expert computer skills are also necessary to navigate and query multiple electronic record systems and associated software.
Identify, research, and resolve duplicate patient profiles by performing data comparison using online systems in a timely manner
Acknowledge and provide timely resolution to field support tickets
Collaborate with multiple teams (Data Quality, HIPAA, Compliance, Innovations and Legal) to identify and correct errors when they occur
Communicate with leadership and team manager to ensure service-level deadlines are met
Participate in periodic quality review with team members to support program quality efforts toward optimizing patient safety and minimizing legal exposure
Assist in ongoing training and development of other team members through collaborative review of data integrity examples
Review production reports to ensure accuracy of team production numbers
Perform work for supporting organizational standard of having only one profile per patient
Hours: Weekday position with rotating weekend coverage
