What you'll do...

  • Creates and implements a plan to assist stakeholders with renewing and applying for state medical licensure.

  • Coordinates mandatory Continuing Medical Education (CME) schedules and submits all necessary CME applications and documentation.

  • Organizes CME travel arrangements and maintains CME records.

  • Monitors and notifies stakeholders of new or changing regulatory requirements for medical licensure and CME.

  • Assists with contracts, policy, meeting minutes, and other administrative activities related to Friendly PC.

  • Assists in the operation of the department by listening to and resolving requests.

  • Coordinates or serves as a liaison for visiting associates and guests.

  • Plans and prepares for key events or dates, keeps track of deadlines, and communicates with relevant partners.

  • Monitors and manages departmental or business-related activity completion.

  • Assists the department with calendars and meeting activities planning by assisting leadership or team members with scheduling, maintaining, and updating calendar events.

  • Assists the department with data management by prioritizing, compiling, validating, and maintaining data and information included in documents, business tools, and electronic forms.

  • Conducts research and corrects data inaccuracies.

  • Recognizes and escalates data trends, patterns, risks, and concerns.

  • Secures and protects the confidentiality of information.

  • Produces presentations, reports, and templates.

  • Utilizes business and process expertise to assist with communications (electronic, verbal, and written) by answering, assessing, directing, and transferring calls, taking messages, and evaluating and resolving caller requests, issues, and concerns.

  • Ensures the confidentiality and discretion of communications.

  • Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.

  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.

Minimum Qualifications...

High school diploma or equivalent and three years' experience performing administrative duties in a physician’s office practice, clinic human resources, medical staff services, or credentialing role. 
Intermediate proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
