About the Position

As the leader for Walmart’s Early Career Enablement pillar, you will be responsible for managing all School Relationship Managers (SRM), Coordinators and Campus Operations specialists. You will focus on elevating our university hiring strategy and creating best-in-class experiences for our candidates, university partners and business stakeholders. Leveraging insights and data, our Enablement leader will ensure an efficient, effective, and dynamic end-to-end recruiting model that builds the strongest, most diverse talent pipeline aligned to Walmart’s business needs.

You’ll be responsible for…

  • Setting a white-glove standard for hiring and onboarding for both candidates and business stakeholders/partners to ensure a seamless, transparent, and timely recruitment journey
  • Creating and owning execution of innovative sourcing strategies to build sustaining, long-term early career talent pipelines aligned to Walmart’s priorities and planned growth
  • Equipping recruiters, recruiting managers and SRMs with resources, training and insights related to Early Career talent as well as our existing tools/technologies/platforms
  • Embedding data and metrics into all aspects of the early career lifecycle while driving recruiting data integrity (i.e. leverages dashboards, conducts data analysis to understand trends/gaps, etc.)
  • Owning relationships with all third-party vendors (i.e. Roark) as well as our tools/technology partners (i.e. Handshake, Forage)
  • Remaining continuously aware of competitive information, market trends, benchmarking and student attitudes/perceptions to ensure the competitiveness of Walmart offerings
  • Implementing equity and inclusive recruiting initiatives to create a fair playing field for students from all backgrounds to promote hiring of diverse cohorts of students and new graduates
  • Overseeing various projects and process improvement initiatives, including improving how we attract and assess early career talent as well as how we enhance/upgrade/align/tweak broader Talent organization tools/systems/processes (i.e. Workday, Avature)
  • Overseeing design of recruiting calendar of events activities, including a notable shift to a hybrid mix of in-person and virtual recruiting efforts
  • Providing thought leadership and strategic decision-making capabilities related to a wide range of enterprise early career recruiting deliverables
  • Leveraging a data-driven approach to collect feedback and analyze candidate/business satisfaction rates throughout the recruitment process
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing a team of talented early career professionals at varying stages of their careers
