R-851908  Senior Manager I, Global Business Services Training and Communications 

Join the Global Business Services team to be a key partner to our Merchant, Supply Chain, and Accounts Payable teams for the world’s largest retailer.  The Senior Manager I, Training and Communications role will collaborate with key business partners to support learning and development needs for both our internal partners and our Suppliers.   In addition, the position will support the integration of new concierge service programs and prepare and finalize communications that may be shared within the Supplier Community.  The Senior Manager I, will be a key point of contact for our stakeholders and leaders supporting concierge services, and other key supplier programs.

The individual who holds this role will be expected to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage their audience.  Strong candidates will exhibit the ability to take complex information and break it down into segments that aid their learner in the training process.  This person will be comfortable communicating to all levels of management and will be called upon to create executive presentations, communications as well as publish learning materials on Retail Link and other external facing.  This person will go beyond a traditional learning and development role as they manage projects to integrate new services into our concierge program.  They will be expected to offer their individual perspectives to help identify and solve problems, remove barriers, aid in the improvement of our systems and dashboard and reduce defects within our processes.    This individual will ensure compliance with company policies and support company mission values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

  • Thinking beyond the traditional learning and development role to become a thought leader that aids in the development of program strategy, milestones and roll-out plans for new processes 
  • Demonstrating success with process improvement to identify and implement solutions while leveraging cross-functional teams
  • Running projects to integrate new services into GBS, planning and owning all stages of the process, discovery, development of standard operating procedures, hiring as well as training and communications    
  • General knowledge of our Supplier Programs and Accounts Payable Processes would be a plus
