Senior Project Manager I, Amenities Buildings

The Senior Project Manager I, Amenities Buildings will be involved in the daily activities for the new Walmart Home Office campus. This is a fast-paced, multi-discipline position that will require great communication and leadership skills to meet timelines and budgets.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Assisting with planning and execution of all U.S. corporate campus amenity programs including food services, onsite amenities, vending, and transportation.
  • Helping to develop strategies and programming for future campus expansions.
  • Ensuring business needs are met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives related to corporate campus amenities
  • Consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders.
  • Assisting with RFP process for vendor/partner selection for current and new campuses.
  • Managing contracts and risks across contractual commitments and manages the vendor engagement strategy.
  • Leading improvements across Walmart facilities by tracking and monitoring competitor amenities; benchmarking with industry leaders; tailoring benchmarking data for local facilities; developing strategic plans to ensure attraction and retention of top talent; determining implications and benefits of multiple plans; communicating plans with senior leadership and facility teams; and overseeing the execution of plans across all facilities.
  • Helping to maintain department financial operations by conducting financial analysis.
  • Analyzing data to help make sound decisions for introduction, expansion, or discontinuation of programs based on business need.
  • Reviewing costing to ensure campus cafe operations are self-supporting.

You’ll sweep us off our feet if:

  • You have at least 10 years of experience in hospitality management, business management or related field – must have a strong focus on customer service and overall experience.
  • Certifications in hospitality, nutrition, wellness, or a related area
  • You have experience as a restaurant/business owner or entrepreneur.
  • You have experience managing third-party vendor partners in a corporate setting.
  • You have experience with procurement, data analysis, P&L responsibility, and cost controls
  • You have experience helping to identify any gaps with quantity and quality of food product, associate concerns, and pricing. Ability to address any issues with customer flow for ordering, payment, and pickup.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field and 3 years' experience in business, operations, analytics, or related
area OR 5 years' experience in business, operations, analytics, or related area.
1 year’s supervisory experience.
2 years’ project management experience.
