Walmart Connect, Senior Manager of Training and Sales Enablement (Onboarding)

Walmart Connect is seeking an experienced education professional to lead the onboarding programs for our new hires.

As a startup within the world’s largest retailer, we are quickly developing new ad tech and internal tools and systems. You will play an integral role in ensuring Walmart Connect associates, especially our salespeople, have the knowledge and skills begin to start their position.

In this role, you and your team will be responsible to develop content and facilitate onboarding workshops for all new hires joining the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a best-in-class onboarding programs for all Walmart Connect associates

  • Lead onboarding workshops and training sessions

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and deliver workshops for new hires

  • Identify and track learning metrics to ensure effectiveness and ROI of programs/initiatives, specific to onboarding activities.

  • Create reference and learning material for new employees

  • Monitor and reduce ramp-up time for new associates

  • Facilitate weekly meetings with new hires to continue the onboarding process and monitor progress.

  • Meet with leaders to gain alignment and feedback on onboarding programs.

  • Take corrective action with new associates when necessary

  • Conduct ongoing knowledge and skills assessments for new associates

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of experience in training or sales enablement

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in high-tech, eCommerce or Advertising industry

  • Proven success as a meeting and program facilitator

  • Strong EQ skills

  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written

  • Excellent program management skills

  • Self-starter who thrives on the excitement and challenge to build programs and teams.   Collaboration and partnership with stakeholders at all levels is key.

  • Ability to move fast, in an often ambiguous and fluid environment

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Behavioral Science, or related field and 3 years experience in digital media or related field OR 6 years experience in digital media or related field.

Managing Digital Media Vendors, including contract negotiation, Online Display Advertising, Supervisory experience
