Walmart Connect, Senior Manager of Training and Sales Enablement (Training)

Walmart Connect is seeking a seasoned training expert to lead the training efforts and support our internal and external partners and clients.

As a startup within the world’s largest retailer, we are quickly developing new ad tech and internal tools and systems. You will play an integral role in ensuring Walmart Connect associates, cross-functional partners and our clients are able to quickly learn and adopt the newest ad products, policies and processes.

In this role, you and your team will be responsible to develop content and facilitate workshops for all Marketplace, Platform Partners and other external customers and enabling these audiences to be more successful in their business.  In addition, your team will provide education to our internal associates and partners.


  • Design and implement a best-in-class customer education and enablement programs for all Walmart Connect advertisers, inclusive of Marketplace sellers/internal teams, API partners, agencies, etc.

  • Create and deliver best-in-class customer training and enablement programs for all Walmart Connect associates, exclusive of Sales and Marketing.

  • Craft and lead external customer workshops and courses for key products and solutions like Self-Serve Products, Platform tutorials, reporting and new product releases

  • Partner with our Walmart Advertising Partners and various cross-functional teams within Walmart Connect and the broader Walmart organization to develop materials and content

  • Understand the learning and business requirements of our cross-functional partners and clients.

  • Identify and track learning metrics to ensure effectiveness and ROI of programs/initiatives, specific to external training

  • Partner with business units across Walmart to ensure we are leveraging the best external tools and delivering what our end customers need to succeed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, sales or training

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Retail, eCommerce or Advertising industry.

  • Proven success as a meeting and program facilitator

  • Strong EQ skills

  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written

  • Excellent program management skills

  • Self-starter who thrives on the excitement and challenge to build programs and teams.   Collaboration and partnership with stakeholders at all levels is key.

  • Ability to move fast, in an often ambiguous and fluid environment

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, Education, or related field and 2 years’ experience in adult learning, training content development, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in adult learning, training content development, or related area.
