We are seeking a Sponsored Products Analyst to join Walmart Connect.  We are looking for an individual who loves digging into data, troubleshooting, learning new technologies and solving difficult problems. As a Sponsored Products Analyst, you will be responsible for curating and driving the search optimization strategy across campaigns and verticals as well as looking for new and creative ways to increase campaign performance.  You will partner closely with Sales, Analytics, Product, and Revenue Operations to roll-out optimization changes and best practices throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Optimization: Own campaign performance and implement optimization changes (bid adjustments, targeting changes, etc.) to ensure client KPIs are fulfilled and/or exceeded.
  • Contribute data driven insights for developing successful sales strategies and brand performance
  • Communicate strategic recommendations to campaign management based on research and data analysis.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to identify shortcomings in existing products and opportunities for new features.
  • Create and run test campaigns to present insights on new products (productivity, quality, responsiveness).
  • Iterate on existing processes to help streamline and create best practices across revenue operations and sales. 
  • Addresses business problems by applying advanced analytics techniques through broad parameters provided by more experienced team members.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with members from onsite display, platform partnerships, and revenue operations to define optimal media mix by campaign, advertiser, and vertical.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., economics, mathematics, business administration, management, information systems, marketing) AND 3 years of experience working with product analytics, web analytics, customer analytics, or marketing analytics OR Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, management, information systems, economics, mathematics, business administration, marketing) AND 2 years of experience working with product analytics, web analytics, customer analytics, or marketing analytics.
  • Experience in digital marketing and campaign management, esp on search advertising platforms like Amazon or Walmart for Sponsored Products.
  • Experience in the AdTech or ecommerce space.
  • Comfortable with data analysis via SQL and Excel. Familiar with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI.
  • Able to provide campaign optimization insights and recommendations.
  • Experience working with reporting and sales managers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
  • Experience working with product team.
  • Experience with new product launches.
  • Experience validating data pipelines and creating dashboards.
