What you'll do at

As a Senior Director of Total Rewards, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Total Rewards and business partner strategy for corporate roles supporting Walmart’s Home Office.  You must be collaborative and a consultative partner to senior leadership to resolve short- and long term compensation and benefit opportunities.  The role requires someone who can influence and advise multiple stakeholders and senior executives to develop and implement programs to ensure market competitiveness and overall internal equity.  You will be accountable for providing overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement  opportunities; and promoting a customer environment. You will ideally bring new ideas and innovative approaches to the organization, provides leadership within and across business units and oversee the development of new and innovative total rewards processes in order to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce.  The ideal candidate for the role will be a strategic, influential, and progressive total rewards leader with financial acumen and the ability to translate business challenges into actionable solutions in a highly complex, rapidly evolving environment.  You are someone who builds trust and credibility and inspires associates across the business.  You are action-oriented, resourceful and approachable while also having the ability to influence and lead change. Preferred Qualifications Ideal Progression: 12 or more years of progressive HR experience in Total Rewards, Compensation or similar function with large, multinational companies; Must have experience in “business-facing” activities in the areas of program management/development, strategy; Design thinking, while not required, is considered a major plus. Design experience a plus as this individual will be the decision maker for the designs. Have experience in both a decentralized and centralized environment with multi level decision making.
