What you'll do...

Leads process improvement and cross-functional projects for Operations to completion by identifying areas of continual process improvement and improved operational efficiency; gaining buy-in from cross-functional groups; assisting in process design; assisting in analytical efforts in data validation to create scalable reporting; driving a scalable and efficient solution; communicating expectations to relevant parties; monitoring progress; and ensuring timely completion. Monitors compliance of external partners (for example, suppliers, transportation) with established Operations processes by developing reports to measure performance against goals; gathering and analyzing data; and providing feedback on operational performance. Ensures operational objectives are communicated to cross-functional business partners and external partners to raise awareness of business performance by preparing and delivering presentations and reports; facilitating ongoing discussion with partners to ensure optimal performance; representing functional area for new company-wide initiatives; articulating results of operational objectives to ensure alignment of priorities and responsibilities; and sharing information and updates with stakeholders to track progress and improvement over time. Performs analysis to identify operational issues or areas for improvement by researching, analyzing, and integrating operations information and data (for example, metrics, reports, ad-hoc analyses) using Excel and SQL; recommends process improvements and development opportunities (for example, tool or system enhancements) with a demonstrated and sustained impact on performance; identifying and analyzing underlying patterns and root causes of problems; and proposing and supporting the implementation of solutions to address problems. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
