Builds processes for recruiting external talent by researching and benchmarking with industry experts on compensation and organizational structures of other companies; evaluating and interpreting benchmarking data to drive an external talent review process; providing guidance and sharing best-practices in selecting candidates for senior management positions; driving the development of long-range talent acquisition plans and associated project timelines; influencing decision-makers and executives within the organization regarding project benefits; advising cross-functional teams (for example, sourcers, recruiters) across the business to facilitate talent acquisition; and providing specialized expertise regarding external candidates throughout the recruiting lifecycle.
Develops and drives targeted talent acquisition plans by consulting with senior leadership to develop a targeted talent risk analysis to identify potential talent gaps; developing targeted staffing fulfillment plans to address identified gaps; advising senior leadership on talent sourcing needs to support divisional strategies; applying external benchmarking data to departmental structure to determine appropriate comparisons; analyzing and interpreting movement of targeted external talent across companies; supporting the integration and prioritization of timelines, tasks, analysis, and team assignments; and implementing strategic initiatives to achieve position fulfillment goals.
Supports the business throughout the full-cycle of recruitment and selection of candidates by collaborating with partners to identify ideal candidate skills and experience needed; sourcing a diverse candidate pool using various methods (for example, cold calling, social networking, job board/internet mining) while promoting employment value proposition; building and maintaining relationships with prospective candidates in order to create a sustainable database of interested or potentially interested individuals; communicating expectations, feedback, and status information to stakeholders (for example, candidates, hiring managers) throughout the selection process; providing selection recommendations for functional areas and business unit positions; managing the hiring and on-boarding process (for example, offer negotiation, compensation, benefits, relocation) of candidates; and ensuring selection process documentation is complete and entered into human resource (HR) systems. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
