What you'll do...

Are you ready to execute strategies related to insider threats for the world’s largest retailer? The Senior Manager One, Insider Threat is a vital role charged with identifying, investigating, and mitigating insider threats by leveraging technology and applying investigative experience to protect the information and assets of this large multi-national corporation.   The successful candidate has a strong track record in collaborating with cross functional teams to mitigate risk to the business.  This role will identify and implement best practices in the discipline of Insider Threats, will be familiar with technology needed to support this mission, and will have experience investigating Insider Threats in the corporate environment.

Specific expertise in Insider Threat, Counterintelligence, risk analysis, cyber investigations, and briefing at the leadership level is needed for success in this key position.  Familiarity with network investigations and forensics, log management and analysis, and analyzing data needed.  Experience with network analysis tools such as Splunk desired.

You’ll make an impact by: 

  • Exerting your experience in Insider Threat mitigating corporate risk

  • Developing business best practices and procedures that will identify and mitigate insider threats

  • Creating capabilities for detecting irregular or abnormal internal activities

  • Influencing strategies on how to identify insider threats by leveraging technology and data

  • Providing guidance on technical insider risk related matters, methodologies, and techniques both within the team and to partners across the Enterprise

  • Performing independent technical assessments to ensure the processes, procedures, and designs of the insider risk systems remain effective, accurate, functional, and secure to deter, detect, and mitigate insider risks

You’ll sweep us off our feet if… 

  • You are a subject matter expert in all technical aspects of insider risk research and analysis and you have a proven record of success applying that expertise in a corporate environment.

  • You have experience with understanding and processing human behavior and motivations from technical and non-technical indicators, human intelligence, and open-source intelligence

  • You have experience in counterintelligence, risk analysis, investigations and/or law enforcement

  • You are familiar with threat management within a corporate environment and have a proven track record of success

  • You are comfortable with technology and how to leverage tools to improve processes

  • You are driven to execute and to act quickly

  • You are process-minded and look for opportunities to streamline for improved efficiency and effectiveness

  • You have strong communication skills to interact with senior leadership and stakeholders

  • You have supervisory experience leading teams

  • You are certified as an Insider Threat Vulnerability Assessor
