As a Senior Software Engineer part of Sam’s Site Experience team, you will be responsible for enhancing existing Sam’s Club eCommerce payment infrastructure that supports multiple platforms and clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional software and quality engineers by building best in class payment solutions giving stability and scalability to all clients.

What you’ll do:

  • Build well performing sophisticated payment solutions with secured and scalable infrastructure.
  • Leverage industry standard server-side frameworks like NodeJS to build applications that are reusable.
  • Assess system design, technical risks, identify areas of improvement, and suggest and implement solutions. Prepare technical implementation and project feasibility documents. 
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability 
  • Troubleshoot business and production software issues and provide robust technical solutions to resolve the problem

Your Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Java and server-side JavaScript frameworks- node.js
  • Experience in Azure infrastructure and CI/CD deployment
  • Experience in integrating with 3rd party payment solution providers and coming up with security compliant solutions
  • Experience in logging and debugging with tools like Azure AppInsights and Splunk
