What you'll do...
The Sr. Manager II, Seller Fraud, Trust & Safety is responsible for the design and implementation of strategies and programs to mitigate Seller Fraud risk on Walmart Marketplaces.
In this role, the Sr Manager II, Seller Fraud, Trust & Safety will own the Seller Fraud roadmap and goals and will ensure that key performance indicators are met on a quarterly basis while supporting growth of sellers on the Walmart Marketplaces.
The position will report into the Vice President, Trust & Safety (T&S), and work closely and cross-functionally with T&S Operations, Product, Engineering, Analytics and Data Science teams.
You’ll make an impact by:
Designing Seller Fraud risk mitigation framework and long-term strategy for Walmart marketplaces.
Maturing existing risk mitigation processes & workflows to optimize Seller Fraud risk detection while balancing seller experience.
Working with T&S policy team to enhance Seller Fraud guidelines and optimize current enforcement.
Partnering with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to build automated controls and models to reduce false positives and increase detection rate.
Ensuring Seller Fraud risk management considerations are incorporated into future product development for Marketplace Sellers.
Being a thought leader about Seller Fraud risk management and educate stakeholders within the company about current state and performance of the programs.
Generating reports and share insights about Seller Fraud trends.
Acting as point of contact for any Seller Fraud escalations.
You’ll sweep us off our feet if:
You’ve got a Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred qualification).
You’ve got 8+ years of experience in seller risk management or fraud risk control functions in a marketplace e-commerce environment.
You’ve got 3+ years of experience in Fraud product management & architecture (preferred qualification).
You’ve got excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong data background; highly savvy pulling/synthesizing data and identifying Fraud trends/patterns.
You’ve got proficient and hands-on SQL, Excel, and data analytics experience/knowledge.
You’ve got an understanding of machine learning models in relation to fraud detection.
You’re a cross functional leader with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
You’re a proven critical thinker and are adaptable.
