What you'll do at
What you'll do...
Executes the prescription ordering process for Walmart and Walmart.com by prioritizing orders; verifying and scanning faxes from physicians; setting up orders in the pharmacy system; writing, verifying, and entering patient information; checking and logging patient profile notes; informing customers of prescription or medication issues; troubleshooting and resolving problem orders (for example, illegible image); preparing prescriptions for shipment; filing and placing end-of-day (EOD) labels on prescription; and processing prescription mail-back requests.
Processes Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) information, materials, and forms by identifying and processing customer requests on forms or statements within the HIPPA folder; processing incoming mail; scanning acknowledgement forms into pharmacy systems; mailing statements and requested forms to customer; and logging communications, requests, and HIPPA-related activities into pharmacy system. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
