Leads and coordinates the strategic agenda for International, develops business and financial plans and also provides consulting experience and program management for specific strategic and change initiatives across functions and markets / countries that are deemed critical to the success of Walmart International Division's long term business objectives.
Serves as strategic core of International's growth initiatives, cross country and focus on charting a path to help guide the division's growth; oversees the collation and analysis of operational data, micro and macro environment factors / indices, competitor landscape, customer trends, capabilities and financial projections; disseminates of this informational to the leadership team and bring forth insights and implications to what the trends reveal and ensures its inclusion in the BU strategic plans as well as division wide implications
Oversees the strategic planning process by which international operations by country contributes to the total 5-year plan by collaborating with senior leadership to set objectives; managing objective-setting analysis, template development, and sometimes in-country strategies valuation; prioritizing strategic initiatives in current and new markets; recommending revisions to in-country strategies; making recommendations for capital allocation; partnering with VP and other departments (for e.g., marketing, real estate, merchandizing, ISD); reviewing scorecard metrics and reports; and at times traveling to regions to facilitate market coordination and sharing of global trends, strategy planning tools and best practices
Initiates large scale special projects by developing hypothesis and reviewing budgets, work plans, and analysis method; defining issues clearly despite multiple variables; articulating short and long term business impact to the leadership team; maintaining strategies through the implementation stage in coordination with Mergers and Acquisition and Integration departments; monitoring KPIs to ensure projects result in higher sales, profit, return on investment, or other targets; and traveling to market for communication, project review and consensus building
Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning.
Supports the coordination of consulting or outside services for large scale, new markets, or special projects by leading request for proposal (RFP)

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 5 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or relevant area OR 7 years’ experience
i n accounting, finance, or related area.
2 years’ supervisory experience.
2 years’ experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
