What you'll do at

Works with the health and wellness managers to schedule health and wellness staff by identifying associate staffing pool; maintaining associate availability and contact lists; tracking associate vacation requests and usage; collecting schedules from facility management; ensuring everyday low cost scheduling practices (for example, minimizing drive time); contacting associates; filling vacancies; and submitting final schedules to health and wellness managers for review. Assists in completing human resources activities within the market by assisting in the hiring process and on-boarding of new healthcare professionals; coordinating recruiting events; compiling personnel files; and keying staffing hours. Works with health care professional staff across multiple business units by collecting availability and scheduling preferences; approving individual schedules; communicating with healthcare professional(s) to ensure appropriate coverage. Maintains health care professional scheduling system by creating schedules to meet health care professional and facility needs and requirements; maintaining facility level guidelines for scheduling; reviewing, identifying and resolving gaps and overages in schedules; gaining schedule approval from Market leadership; distributing schedules to facility leadership and health care professionals. Maintains list of licenses and certifications for market health and wellness facilities staff by collecting and keeping record of licenses for stores and staff in accordance with federal and state specific requirements; ensuring licenses and certifications are up to date, including tracking expiration dates and staffing changes; and notifying health and wellness managers of expired certifications and licenses in order to maintain compliance. Ensures everyday low cost operation of labor applied to scheduling health care professional staff by maintaining staffing guidelines for healthcare professionals; comparing actual schedules to guidelines and analyze variances; ensuring business needs are met by schedules; monitoring schedules to ensure lowest cost solution has been considered; offering recommendations to market leadership when necessary; working with Market Managers and regional talent specialists to support the workforce plan. Completes work assignments and priorities in Health and Wellness by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with Managers, co-workers, Customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback. Complies with Company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
