What you'll do at

Leads agile teams for large, complex projects for related systems engineering solutions by consults with business partners regarding project design and expected functionality for long-range objectives; researches industry innovations and best practices and determines opportunities for new innovative solutions; designs systems engineering solutions based on long-range requirements; leads and oversees agile teams in the development of solution functionality; drives systems solutions to support long-term infrastructure solutions; manages the build of the core infrastructure across the enterprise; and presents designs to cross-functional leadership. Drives system design processes and solution development by collaborates with internal teams (for example, Technical Operations Center (TOC), Engineering partners) on identified issues and their impact to system functionality; analyzes escalated or reoccurring issues to determine the root cause; develops and drives solutions to ensure short- and long-term functionality; utilizes new technologies and innovations to drive resolution; collaborates with vendors on innovative solutions; and consults with partner teams on systems engineering questions. Drives the development and implementation of systems engineering improvements by develops and communicates technical strategy and priorities; designs operational features and operations management systems and processes to accommodate growth and traffic on eCommerce websites; designs health monitoring systems and oversees the monitoring and tracking of software health and performance; aligns short- and long-term solutions with business partners to ensure efficiencies across the organization; develops technology roadmaps and ensures they are aligned to departmental and company strategies; mentors and trains team members on applicable topics and processes; and assists teams in the resolution of complex technical issues. Walmart InfoSec is seeking experienced and well-rounded penetration testers that will be part of an elite team responsible for protecting the globally distributed information assets of the world’s largest company through specialized security testing.  This person is a persistent and resourceful security practitioner with a knack for finding vulnerabilities, practices a persistent approach for proving exploitable findings and possesses a steadfast willingness to collaborate with some of the brightest security professionals. Responsibilities: Performs application, web, mobile and network penetration tests using both automated and manual techniques. Identifies and exploits vulnerabilities in commercial, open source, custom software applications and infrastructure across one of the world’s largest networks. Composes test reports and records vulnerability data according to Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) processes.  Effectively delivers technical debriefs to stakeholders including technical staff, program management  and leaders. Consistently learns the latest and most advanced security testing techniques, development tools, and frameworks. Maintains testing tools, hardware, and equipment creating new tools where appropriate. Develops scripts, tools, methodologies and best practices to improve team capabilities. Demonstrates deep knowledge of common operating systems.
