Maintains awareness of and consistency with emerging industry solutions to create the latest technological strategies, solutions, and roadmaps by benchmarking global industry resources against internal technologies, processes, and solutions to drive the business to sustain industry leadership; identifying and gaining consensus on capabilities and required approaches; defining and articulating activities necessary to address needs, interfaces, standards and specifications, and gaps; and investigating solutions and driving implementation of architectural design security and critical infrastructure protection. Drives large-scale implementations leveraging industry knowledge (for example, databases, server and storage, directory solutions, integrations, web services, networking and multi-channel solutions) by evaluating solutions to meet desired results; conducting engineering and analysis focused on secure enterprise operations and management; collaborating with internal and external teams on network, application, and data security best practices; establishing and measuring performance standards of business processes and associated technology solutions; removing barriers and obstacles that impact delivery or performance standards; and duplicating solutions and providing the same features and capabilities on a small scale in regional locations while providing a cost-effective solution. Drives cross-functional teams to develop ideas, programs, or initiatives by soliciting, evaluating and executing suggestions for improving efficiencies and overall cost effectiveness; aligning across organizational boundaries to collaborate and foster partnerships to gain agreement on roles, responsibilities, capabilities, requirements, and implementation of methods and tools; leading strategic alliances and partnerships for overall corporate, security and technology strategies; and collaborating with senior corporate leadership. Provides tactical direction based on global business needs by analyzing business direction and customer needs in multiple domains to improve domain position and capability while allowing business to meet strategic goals; evaluating operational processes to measure actual versus expected outcomes; identifying and executing operational performance improvement opportunities; ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and guidelines; communicating with senior-level management; and directing strategies intended to enhance the security of products, services, and infrastructure. Directs multi-disciplinary teams to define and create enterprise-level solutions and strategies for complex problems by collaborating with senior leadership to receive sponsorship and support; guiding program personnel in strategy execution; developing and communicating business and technical plans and priorities; providing innovative direction on applying technology to simplify implementation of business and technology solutions; and collaborating with project teams to provide planning and guidance. Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning. Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent. Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy. Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives; engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives; and supporting associate efforts in these areas.
