Senior Director, Talent Management
Location: Bentonville, AR

Walmart is expanding the structure of our Talent Management team to ensure our core segments have dedicated leadership taking a thoughtful approach to the design and delivery of segment-specific strategies that support our Associates and long-term business growth. We are hiring three senior leaders within the Global Talent and Learning (GTL) organization. Each leader will deliver on the talent management needs of a core corporate segment: Enterprise, Sam’s Club, or Walmart International. While each position has a unique scope, all three will work cross-functionally to advance talent capabilities, strengthen leadership pipelines, and support long-term business priorities.

What you'll do...

Enterprise – Senior Director, Talent Strategy & Performance 

  • Lead integrated performance and talent strategies across enterprise functions. 

  • Align talent planning, performance cycles, and succession with digital enablement. 

  • Partner with senior leaders to support Talent Reviews, Board meetings, and executive forums. 

  • Drive enterprise-wide talent KPIs and measure program effectiveness. 

Sam’s Club – Senior Director, Talent Transformation 

  • Define and measure talent density with a focus on executive hiring of top performers. 

  • Build AI-fluent and bionic capabilities to prepare a future-ready workforce. 

  • Identify next-generation leaders and develop critical future roles like Club Manager of the Future. 

  • Develop performance management systems and promote high-performance team culture. 

Walmart International – Head of Talent Management 

  • Lead strategic leadership planning and succession aligned to various international markets. 

  • Build AI-fluent talent and deploy bionic strategies integrating human skills and technology. 

  • Use talent analytics to monitor bench strength and inform leadership decisions. 

  • Orchestrate talent management across the full talent supply chain, including contractors and external partners. 

What you’ll bring: 

  • 15+ years of experience in Talent Management, Talent Strategy, or Organizational Development within large, complex organizations. 

  • Demonstrated success scaling talent programs and initiatives across multiple business segments or regions. 

  • Proven ability to lead or influence transformational initiatives that align talent practices with evolving business needs and long-term strategy. 

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with senior leaders and cross-functional partners. 

  • Advanced degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related field (preferred)

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00
