Position Summary...
The Associate BPO Operations Manager is a developmental role for future BPO operations leadership. It supports vendor performance, contributes to strategic initiatives, and provides operational continuity within Walmart Marketplace’s Seller Support and Risk Operations. This role helps launch and scale new programs, assists with cross-functional execution, and ensures that Walmart’s high standards for operational excellence, seller experience, and continuous improvement are upheld.This position is ideal for mid-career professionals with strong analytical abilities, communication skills, and a drive to lead through influence and execution.

You’ll Make an Impact By:
Strategizing and Driving Seller Growth - Assist in identifying process gaps, uncovering opportunities, and helping drive initiatives that drive seller experience and operational efficiency.
Launching and Scaling Programs - Support implementation of key operational pilots (e.g., Risk Lifecycle, Compliance Reviews, Fraud Prevention). Coordinate with stakeholders across Risk Ops, Marketing, Category, Product, and other Marketplace teams to ensure alignment and delivery.
Managing End-to-End Program Support - Help develop and execute initiatives that increase tool adoption and improve seller-facing services. Participating in feedback loops to iterate and improve programs over time.
Measuring and Optimizing Performance - Track KPIs across programs and vendor teams, analyze trends, and provide insights to BPO leaders. Use this data to recommend process changes and optimizations.
Promoting Walmart’s Culture and Standards - Model Walmart values through integrity, collaboration, and inclusive practices. Ensure compliance with policies, support the Open-Door philosophy, and contribute to an environment of continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead “Just Do It” (JDI) initiatives with measurable impact and low lift.
Support routine performance review prep, deep dives, and weekly business reviews.
Coordinate pilot and program rollout across stakeholder teams.
Assist with end-to-end management of program logistics and execution.
Build standard BPO Operations and Performance dashboards and reports.
Analyze operational data to drive decision-making and partner improvement.
Model Walmart’s mission, values, and commitment to ethics, integrity, and inclusion.
Minimum Qualifications:
3 years of relevant business analytics, customer service operations, or a vendor-facing function.
Working knowledge of operational metrics and data analytics.
Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets; exposure to BI tools a plus.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with a structured and proactive approach.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in e-commerce or BPO experience.
Familiarity with programs or project coordination.
Exposure to workforce management systems, seller tools, or support platforms.
Multilingual capabilities (e.g., Mandarin, Spanish) a plus.
Career Path:
This role will provide project management, reporting, and analytics support while learning the seller support ops business to easily transition to a BPO Operations Manager positions growth allows. The job aligns to Walmart’s succession planning for roles with high growth and strategic value. Successful candidates will gain the visibility, experience, and mentorship needed to continue advancement to higher responsibility roles within Marketplace Operations.
