The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management and the rest of the Atlassian Cloud suite in the organization. The Atlassian Administrator will report to the Manager, IT Operations and provide support to multiple VIZIO teams.
What you'll do...
As our local Atlassian administrator, you will manage and sustain the Atlassian Cloud suite. You will assist users with support requests via the JSM ticketing system and create architectural and end-user documentation for the IT Confluence Knowledgebase. You will work with a diverse group of talented individuals with varying knowledge and experience in the Atlassian product suite, conducting training on Confluence and Jira regarding using the tools, new functionality, and more.
In collaboration with the Senior Atlassian administrator, you will configure Confluence or Jira workflows and templates, identifying where functionality needs to improve to meet user requests. You will also help with the configuration of Atlassian Analytics for reporting purposes, both for IT and business partners. Maintaining scalability, sustainability, and manageability following industry standards and best practices for Atlassian Guard, Confluence, Jira, Service Management, and Work Management will be a key part of your role.
You should possess a sound understanding of system administration principles, including monitoring, storage, and scripting. Communicating standards, procedures, changes, and maintenance outages to the leadership team and end users will be essential. Additionally, you will assist end users with user-specific settings and Project Level Administrators with managing settings and maintaining their projects.
Your responsibilities will include completing approved customization requests or suggesting alternative solutions within established standards. You will manage users, groups, and access, creating and configuring new projects, schemes, and assets, and removing them when they are no longer needed. Vetting, installing, and updating apps, plugins, and integrations will also be part of your duties.
Developing and maintaining documentation and end-user training materials, monitoring, and ensuring the overall health of the applications, and performing other duties as assigned will round out your responsibilities in this role.
What you will bring:
You have a bachelor’s degree.
You have 3+ years of related work experience. You are a self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced, yet at times, ambiguous environment.
You have experience as an Atlassian Administrator with experience managing complex Jira projects and workflows as well as configuring Confluence spaces. You have a strong understanding of how to configure Confluence spaces and Jira projects while adhering to best practices.
You are a hard-working team player, with a “no task is too small” attitude.
You are a creative problem-solver who digs into root causes analytically, instead of relying on intuition.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to tell complex stories simply and adapt to questions, rather than just presenting information.
You need to be both creative and innovating in finding solutions for various teams within the organization while adhering to industry best practices.
You possess a high attention to detail.

Irvine, California US-11570:The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00
