Position: Manager II, Product Management
Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066
Duties: Responsible for analyzing the pain points of Walmart suppliers and creating a product for them to utilize Walmart data and derive quick and meaningful insights. Work with business teams on various product initiatives, validate customer feedback, develop product features and roadmaps, and create product vision. Conduct UAT (user acceptance tests) to meet the required quality and performance standards. Responsible for creating detailed product documentation around product roadmaps, product requirements documents, project plans for delivery, and status reports. Identify and deploy ways of tracking health of products and measure progress over time in critical business metrics. This position does not supervise other employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems Management, or related area and 3 years of experience in product management; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems Management, or related area and 5 years of experience in product management.
Skills required: Experience defining near-term product strategy and constructing product roadmaps through research of customer pain-points. Experience conducting ideation sessions with business teams, designing hypotheses focused on improving product adoption, and prioritizing requirements for roadmap. Experience documenting feature requirements as per Agile development frameworks in an Agile project management software and driving Scrum ceremonies. Experience defining feature level Key Performance indicators to objectively evaluate the success of the features and impact on the product adoption. Experience performing User acceptance testing (UAT) of the developed functionality covering both User Interface and backend to ascertain adherence to business requirements and quality standards using POSTMAN or an equivalent tool and JSON for creation of test requests and validation of responses. Experience defining acceptance criteria for technical teams covering both functional and non-functional requirements along with API architecture for the use case. Experience preparing release and delivery plans and monitoring product design and development timelines through use of project management software. Experience conducting product walkthroughs at a regular cadence to educate business teams and other key stakeholders about the released functionalities. Experience partnering with engineering to identify low cost and fast implementation methods for A/B test requirements and monitoring progress of implementation against milestones. Experience configuring dashboards and views in Power BI, Tableau, and Splunk to continuously monitor the health of the product, progress against the business goals, and provide regular status updates to business executives. Experience performing detailed analysis on collected data from product monitoring tags using Adobe Analytics to conduct funnel evaluation on product usage and identify points in the funnel where users are dropping from the product and identify remedial actions to improve product adoption. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $117,000/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
