Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of automated equipment functions for example operations calibration maintenance troubleshooting in thepharmacy and sustaining a calibration program for instruments automated medication counting machines by preparing informationaland related records and reports to ensure data accuracy and system compliance with company policies and regulations monitoring andor scanner screen and troubleshooting pill cell issues for example jamming throughout productionMaintains quality accuracy and integrity of inventory for example medications supplies by utilizing automated inventory control scanner andsystem to track and ensure the timely and appropriate delivery and stocking of medications and supplies ensuring adherence to and documentationof inventory control procedures for example product strategies product description discrepancies auditing and testing pill cell performanceaccording to prescribed schedules and procedures managing pill cell information database troubleshooting issues with pill cell performanceidentifying and properly discarding hazardous waste processing recalled and expired pharmaceuticals and disposing or processing returns ofoutdated stock for creditMaintains and tracks medication inventory by sorting placing and storing freight in appropriate locations restocking and replenishing medications inappropriate locations reporting low stock levels ensuring stock rotation on a firstin firstout basis to assist in shrinkage control performing inventorycycle counts assisting with physical counts for inventoriesSupports facility with reporting to ensure productivity and pharmaceutical integrity by entering and modifying pharmaceutical data on systems andforms processing and submitting paperwork creating and maintaining documentation for example files manuals forms records supplies andcommunications for example memoranda correspondence identifying and resolving discrepancies in record or files preparing reports of pharmacyactivities and inventory for example state board mandated testing of counting devices and informing management about incorrect or inefficientprocesses and service proceduresDelivers pharmacy products and services in accordance with local state and federal laws and regulations and company policies and procedures byassisting pharmacists in the prescription fulfillment process stocking and rotating merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliershandling pharmacy claims and returns completing maintaining and securing paperwork forms and other required documentation and maintainingwork environment according to company policies and proceduresEnsures fulfillment of pharmacy prescriptions in an automated central fill pharmacy in order to maintain a continuous and consistent workflow to meetdaily production and quality goals by using the scanner to identify and select medications and quantities for prescription orders verifying the size andstrength of medications before processing orders verifying displays for packs and quantities entering expiration dates and lot numbers labelingprescriptions weighing medications for accuracy of quantity counting or pouring medications for prescription orders preparing packages anddistributing medications and replenishing automated counting machinesDevelops communicates and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers coworkers customersand other business partners analyzing and applying information from multiple sources monitoring progress and results and identifying andaddressing improvement opportunitiesDemonstrates promotes and supports compliance with company policies procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by explaining guidingand demonstrating how to apply these in executing business processes and practices implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policyand assisting management with The hourly wage range for this position is $22.00-$26.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Minimum Qualifications...

Meets state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician (for example, age, qualification, registration, certification, licensure when required by applicable State Board of Pharmacy or equivalent).
Holds an active/valid national certification certificate issued by Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCE) or National Healthcareer
Association (ExCPT)
6 Months’ experience in a pharmacy environment (for example, central fill, specialty, retail, mail order)
1 year’s experience performing clerical-related responsibilities (for example, filing, data entry) and computer applications (for example, email, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Visio).
