About Walmart Us eCommerce

At Walmart, we help people save money so they can live better. This mission serves as the foundation for every decision we make, from responsible sourcing to sustainability — and everything in between. As a Walmart associate, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of shopping with highly talented individuals, in an environment that values dedication, ingenuity and collaboration. Here, your work makes an impact every day. What are you waiting for?

You will make an impact by:

As a Senior Manager of Business Analysis, you will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives focused on Channel Partners, including API Partners and Agencies. You will guide a team through ambiguity to drive data-informed decisions that impact the broader Marketplace strategy. Your role includes prioritizing and managing competing projects, creating scalable analytical solutions, and delivering strategic insights to leadership and partners. You will be instrumental in influencing product direction, business development, and operational improvements across Walmart’s growing ecosystem.

You’ll sweep us off our feet if you:

  • Have 5–7+ years of experience in business analysis, data strategy, or relevant roles in a fast-paced, data-intensive environment.

  • Are an expert at synthesizing large and complex datasets into actionable insights, especially using API performance and marketplace data to drive partner strategies.

  • Thrive in ambiguity and break down open-ended business problems into structured analytical approaches.

  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge in SQL, Excel, Tableau, and/or Looker; bonus if experienced with GCP, Salesforce, or Walmart-specific systems (e.g., GIST).

  • Possess strong project and stakeholder management skills — you can juggle multiple timelines while ensuring analytical accuracy and timely delivery.

  • Have deep familiarity with the eCommerce ecosystem and the end-to-end seller journey on marketplaces.

  • Are capable of building strategic dashboards that provide clarity across technical and non-technical teams, enhancing decision-making.

  • Are a strong communicator, comfortable presenting insights to VP-level and Sr.Director-level stakeholders and distilling complex data into clear narratives.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally and build strong, trust-based relationships with product, engineering, business development, and external partners.

  • Demonstrate leadership presence, emotional intelligence, and a track record of mentoring others or leading small teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead analytics for assigned Channel Partner pillars by identifying key opportunities and delivering actionable insights that inform roadmap, partner strategy, and performance improvements.

  • Own the design and development of end-to-end reporting ecosystems and dashboards, ensuring consistency, scalability, and adoption across teams.

  • Drive large-scale analytics projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines, balancing high-level strategic vision with hands-on execution.

  • Partner closely with Product, BD, and Partner Management teams to define metrics, evaluate initiatives, and improve decision-making through data.

  • Investigate performance anomalies, generate hypotheses, and recommend interventions to optimize seller acquisition, retention, and GMV contribution.

  • Champion a culture of data-driven experimentation, continuously iterating on analytical frameworks and strategic measurement approaches.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5–7+ years of experience in business analysis, analytics, consulting, or strategy roles

  • Proven experience in project ownership and cross-functional collaboration

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel; familiarity with GCP, Python/R preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Ability to independently manage ambiguous problems and drive them to resolution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Operations Research)

  • Experience in eCommerce, marketplace ecosystems, or SaaS API integrations

  • Proven success in building and scaling dashboards for executive audiences

  • Experience managing a small team or mentoring junior analysts

  • A self-starter mentality with a bias toward action and continuous improvement
