Sam's Club MAP is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sr. Manager, Ad Platform Tech Operations to lead critical initiatives aimed at optimizing our ad platform infrastructure and driving the adoption of proprietary Sam's Club advertising technology. This role requires a proven leader with exceptional project management, a track record of successful cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership. The Sr. Manager will be instrumental in shaping the future of our ad serving capabilities, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and alignment with overall business objectives.
What you'll do:
- Lead Strategic Ad Platform Initiatives: Drive end-to-end migration projects for advertising platforms and spearhead the adoption of future Sam's Club proprietary ad technology.
- Champion Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary strategic partner and liaison across Product, Engineering, Media Activation, Sales, Yield, and Trafficking teams to define requirements, foster alignment, and resolve complex interdependencies.
- Influence & Communicate with Executives: Cultivate strong relationships with senior leaders, develop and deliver compelling executive-level updates, and manage expectations across all stakeholders regarding ad platform strategy and performance.
- Optimize Ad Platform Operations: Oversee and enhance Tier 2+ support processes, establish standardized workflows and support guides, and provide expert guidance on ad creative and tag issues to ensure accurate and optimal campaign tracking and reporting.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience (5-7+ Years) with various ad platforms, including but not limited to Google Ad Manager (GAM), The Trade Desk (TTD), LiveIntent, and Search ad platforms.
- Proven expertise with Order Management Systems, particularly AdBook.
- Experience with fraud identification and mitigation tools such as IAS, DoubleVerify and HUMAN
- Experience with advertising compliance, privacy and standardization, specifically GDPR, CCPA, MRC accreditation
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale ad technology migrations and implementations.
- Strong understanding of the ad serving process and ad tech ecosystem, including ad servers, SSPs, DSPs, DMPs, and analytics platforms.

San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
