We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven leader to spearhead the Content Strategy and lead the platformization of core capabilities within our Merchandising organization. This role is pivotal in elevating how content is structured, personalized, and integrated across core merchandising platforms — SupplierOne and MerchOne. The ideal candidate will be a systems thinker with a platform mindset, owning the roadmap for scalable, reusable content capabilities that enhance merchant productivity, streamline supplier workflows, and create localized, intelligent merchandising experiences.
Strategic Focus Areas
Platform Capability Ownership
Drive the vision and execution of shared components across platforms and ecosystems agnostic of country and banner
Integration Leadership
Define and own platform onboarding and plugin models to ensure seamless integration across MerchOne and SupplierOne
Foundational Content Capabilities
Own the end-to-end strategy and implementation of shared, scalable content components that power rich merchandising experiences across geographies and business formats. This includes content ingestion pipelines, versioning systems, and dynamic content templates.
Seamless Ecosystem Integration
Design integration models that enable frictionless plug-in of content services across SupplierOne and MerchOne. Establish onboarding frameworks and governance standards to ensure content assets are universally accessible and context-aware.
Personalization Infrastructure
Partner with data science and experience teams to drive the underlying content personalization logic. Build a robust metadata and rules engine that supports role-based, location-sensitive, and category-specific content surfacing.
Self-Service Tools for Merchants & Suppliers
Lead the creation of intuitive interfaces and SDKs that allow internal teams and suppliers to manage content autonomously — minimizing the need for engineering involvement while maintaining high quality and compliance.
AI-Ready Foundations
Architect extensibility models and multi-tenant frameworks that make content services AI-native — enabling automation in content tagging, recommendations, and generation.
Value Metrics & Operational Efficiency
Define and track success through engineering time saved, content utilization metrics, time-to-market reduction, and measurable merchant/supplier enablement. Use these insights to continuously refine content enhancement strategies.
You’ll Thrive Here If You
Are a systems thinker and love designing platforms that scale.
Have deep empathy for internal developers, building APIs and tools they want to use.
Have led complex product lines involving multiple stakeholders, systems and cross-functional teams
Bring a strong voice to product strategy discussions, while being equally effective in the weeds of release planning and execution.
Love a challenge and want to leave infrastructure better than you found it.
Preferred Qualifications
6–9 years of product management experience with at least 2+ years in platform or infra-facing roles.
Experience shipping platforms at scale.
Proven ability to collaborate across product, design, engineering, business and analytics.
Strong communicator — able to evangelize and influence across organizations.
Bonus If You Have
Background in commerce, retail, or enterprise software platforms.
Familiarity with AI/ML-powered platform architectures.
