The Manager, Last Mile Delivery Partnerships will lead Partnerships for the Spark Driver Platform with the objective to bring value to drivers. You will leverage in-depth industry knowledge and connections to bring the Partnerships strategy to life. This includes strategy ideation, development, and execution throughout the partnership’s lifecycle including go-to-market and on-going partnerships management. This Manager must be resourceful to bring new partnership opportunities (both internally at Walmart and with 3rd parties) that enhance the experience of drivers in the platform while reenforcing the independent contractor relationship with gig economy drivers. This position plays a key role to enable the new Spark Driver Rewards Program which is one of primary focus areas for Last Mile delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end strategy of Last Mile Delivery Partnerships to enhance the value proposition for gig economy drivers on the Spark platform.

  • Define a new partnership vision that aligns with the Spark Driver Rewards Program and driver engagement initiatives with a focus on driver satisfaction.

  • Manage and strengthen existing relationships with internal (e.g., Walmart+, Sam’s Club) and external partners, ensuring alignment with Spark's goals while continuously identifying ways to deliver additional value to drivers.

  • Manage the on-going Spark Partnerships performance tracking and reporting by clearly communicating impact to KPIs and share on-going improvement opportunities.

  • Leverage internal and external insights to identify new and innovative partner opportunities.

  • Own the full lifecycle of new partnership initiatives— partnership structure ideation, contract negotiations, launch and post-launch optimization—ensuring seamless integration across Spark’s channels and touch points. 

  • Improve the current driver experience with Partnerships by reducing friction across channels, making partnerships easy to understand, and aligning value proposition to the different priority areas: Driver Rewards Program and overall driver engagement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years' experience in partnerships, customer experience, strategy, and/or account management

  • Experience managing partner accounts and growing strong relationships with external and internal partners.

  • Strategy and Industry Knowledge - Capable of developing partnership strategies within the gig economy / last mile delivery space that align with business goals and enhance the value of the rewards and engagement programs.

  • Contract negotiations - Skilled in structuring and negotiating deals, managing contract terms, and ensuring mutual value from partnerships.

  • Analytical - Strong ability to interpret data to evaluate partnership performance, identify trends, and guide improvements.  

  • Program Management - Proficient in coordinating across multiple teams, managing timelines, and executing partnership initiatives from concept to launch.

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships, communicate, and collaborate effectively within an organization and work in a team setting

  • Outstanding presentation skills with strong ability to independently translate and communicate data and findings into actionable business insights and recommendations

  • Ability to lead a portfolio of partnership projects with multiple business partners in a dynamic and evolving organization

  • Demonstrated experience collaborating and influencing across multiple stakeholder groups

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00
