What you'll do at
Position Summary...
Graduate Public Policy Research Associate will work with the Walmart's Global Public Policy Team to conduct research and provide logistical support to the policy team and the PolicyLab.In this position, you will be a temporary associate working to provide research, logistical, and strategic support for the Walmart Policy Lab and the Global Policy Team. The Walmart PolicyLab is an incubator of ideas at the intersection of the public, private and non-profit sectors aimed at operationalizing Stakeholder Capitalism. We are looking for 3 summer temporary associate, from June to August, for a total of 10 weeks, 40 hours/week.
Location: This position will be fully onsite in Washington, D.C.
What you'll do...
Secure advocacy opportunities and logistics for engagements
Submit diverse written reporting to Walmart executives
Carry out stakeholder mappings in key issue areas
Contribute to complex and time-sensitive deliverables and programs
Manage stakeholder engagement and outreach
What youll bring
You are a candite for a Masters in public policy or international affairs
You have relevant globally oriented work experience in business or international relations for private sector, government, NGOs, trade associations, or similar
You have experience cultivating and managing stakeholder relationships with trust and integrity
You have excellent research and communication skills
You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS in social science, government, international relations, or business
