Faster Releases: We commit to increase the speed in releases through efficient strategies, communications, processes, engineering CI & CD, automation and deployment processes. Enabling rapid feedback cycles from leaders, developers, and End to End teams. Ensuring swift sign off from all the teams involved in the release process and validation of their code changes. Facilitating faster Post Code Freeze and Emergency Bug Fix processes. Improved Developer Productivity: We focus on providing eCommerce teams with processes, tools, automation, and best practices that enhance their productivity and release experience. By simplifying the processes and automating repetitive tasks, we enable our developers to focus more on building innovative features and delivering value to our customers.

What You'll Do:
- Manage software release activities (Main, Bug fixes, Post Code Freezes, Phase roll outs, Holiday Schedules and more) across all phases of US & International markets: initiation, planning, execution, release signoffs, monitoring, control, and closure.
- Partner with application teams, Platform, SRE, End to end, and Product to ensure every release is signed off, repeatable, observable, secure, and fast while maintaining >99.95 % service availability.
- Lead Sev-1/Sev-2 incidents related to build/deploy failures, conducting blameless RCAs and preventive action plans.
- Act as Release Eng subject-matter expert across the company.
- Create, manage, and track releases schedules, plans, scope statements, resource plans, and risk logs.
- Tailor release management and support processes to meet individual project needs.
- Oversee resource planning and organizational capacity planning.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience in managing software releases, specifically Web and Mobile in E-commerce platforms.
- Strong knowledge of release management, dependencies, and release signoff tools and techniques.
- Expertise in program monitoring, control, and stakeholder communication.
- Ability to influence and build consensus among teams and stakeholders.
- Practical knowledge of technology strategy, systems, and trends in retail technology.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Release Engineering; 3+ years at Staff/Senior-Lead level.
- Proven design of large-scale CI/CD for containerized and serverless workloads in GCP, or Azure.
- Hands-on expertise with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CCM, Slack, Concord, Grafana and artifact repositories (Artifactory, ECR).
- Demonstrated incident-commander experience and deep understanding of SRE practices (SLOs, error budgets, chaos testing).
- Excellent written & verbal communication—able to brief execs and dig deep with engineers.
What Success Looks Like in 12 Months
- < 15-minute median rollback time, fully automated.
- All Tier-1 services shipping with progressive delivery + automated QA gates.
- Incident MTTR cut in half compared with last fiscal year.
- Release Engineering roadmap aligned with platform and product OKRs; widely adopted playback documentation and runbooks.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
