About the Team:
Our Software Team operates at the forefront of innovation, driving the development of scalable solutions that support Walmart/VIZIO's strategic goals. By joining our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our software products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, resilience, and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and implement back-end APIs on AWS Lambda in TypeScript.
- Write and maintain Terraform configurations for multi-environment deployments.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using Postman and other tools.
- Implement SRE practices, including observability and SLO monitoring.
- Mentor junior developers and represent the team across business units.
- Optimize AWS resource usage and collaborate with the Cloud DevOps team.
- Manage end-to-end testing and release new features based on customer feedback.
What You’ll Bring:
- BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with professional TypeScript development.
- Expertise in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Node.js, Golang, Python, Java).
- 5+ years of AWS experience, with AWS certification preferred.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Terraform, CircleCI).
- Strong knowledge of professional software engineering practices and SDLC.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience operating large-scale distributed systems and mentoring developers.
You will also receive PTO and/or PPTO that can be used for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other purposes. The amount you receive depends on your job classification and length of employment. It will meet or exceed the requirements of paid sick leave laws, where applicable.

The annual salary range for this position is $99,000.00-$198,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
