(USA) Specialist, Quality Assurance

The Walmart/VIZIO QA team is located in Dakota Dunes and handles both configuration and cloud releases for both feature and maintenance around the Smartcast platform. We intake work from multiple development teams and test the software to ensure quality and integration with all other software components. QA also works with the firmware and OS platform testing including feature and quality improvement releases.

What you'll do...

Executes operational and gap analyses to identify potential quality or compliance opportunities by managing data collection and aggregation for submission and analysis; evaluating quality assurance operational processes; identifying and reporting operational, regulatory, and compliance gaps though data analysis and observation; reviewing and overseeing solutions to enhance quality assurance procedures; identifying exceptions that impact safety, compliance, and risk reduction; and reviewing standard operating procedures regarding equipment use and calibration procedures.

Leads and participates in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools; determining customer needs and business priorities; coordinating and executing work assignments; providing advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved; and modeling and helping others with how to adapt to change or new challenges.

Reviews variances from policy and procedures and ensures corrective action planning is completed and implemented by facilitating continuous quality improvement meetings, accreditation meetings, and process development; overseeing the execution of quality assurance guidelines, procedures, and programs; providing monthly reporting for management on quality and customer experience ; recommending improved workflow and processes to management; and collaborating with to implement and monitor programs.

Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; analyzing and applying information from multiple sources; monitoring progress and results; and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities.

Maintains quality, accuracy, and integrity of inventory by utilizing the automated inventory control scanner and system to track and ensure the delivery and stocking of pharmaceuticals and supplies according to company policies and procedures; supporting pharmacists in the prescription fulfillment process; handling prescription medications; processing recalled and expired pharmaceuticals; identifying standards to ensure safe transport of inventory; submitting and reversing third-party billing claims for returned inventory; maintaining confidentiality to ensure protected health information is secure; identifying and discarding hazardous waste; and processing and monitoring the reshipment of inventory.

Demonstrates, promotes, and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by explaining, guiding, and demonstrating how to apply these in executing business processes and practices; implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and assisting management with correcting ethical and compliance issues and problems.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00-$45.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
