Overview:
We are seeking a self-starting and experienced Senior Copywriter to concept and execute stories that translate across multiple channels including 360 full-funnel paid, social, digital, email, site, print and in-store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advertising, copy writing and creative storytelling. This role requires experience crafting big ideas rooted in human truths and collaborating with partners using a blend of strong leadership and hands-on creative expertise. This role works collaboratively with other team leads (within creative & cross-functionally) this role focuses on primarily Express & Subscriptions service-led campaigns and may flex onto other work as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration: Ideate, create, and execute 360 campaign creative across all channels (owned & paid) inspired by creative and business briefs.
- Pursue ways that we can work better, faster.
- Manage projects that are on-brief and polished, mitigating feedback, ultimately keeping workstreams on track.
- Trend Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, culture and consumer behaviors to inform creative decisions and maintain our brand’s competitive edge.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality and craft throughout the design and implementation process, ensuring that the final output meets or exceeds expectations.
- Consistently applies our brand voice and visual ID guide best practices and standards for brand and seasonal connectivity, attribution and impact.
- Project Oversight: Manage lifestage and seasonal projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in creative writing, advertising, or related field
- 5+ years copywriting experience in professional advertising agency in a senior role.
- Proven track record of creating successful 360 campaigns.
- Exceptional portfolio showcasing creative writing and conceptual thinking.
- Proficiency in industry-standard creative tools and software including the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Slides, and Figma.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate partners and connect across Walmart Creative Studio.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment leading campaigns.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
