Position Summary...

Walmart is investing in clean energy projects across our communities and is looking for passionate clean energy professionals to join the team and execute tax equity transactions across the US.

This role will report to the Director, Energy Tax Oriented Investments and is based in Bentonville, Arkansas (no remote candidates being considered, full relocation package available.)

About the Team
The Walmart Energy team is an established team focused on achieving Walmarts regenerative energy goals. Comprised of seasoned energy veterans, the team collaborates across various Walmart departments to support decarbonization efforts. They are innovators and change agents with diverse backgrounds in utilities, banking, clean energy consulting, and more.

What you'll do...

• Support strategic partnerships with renewable energy developers to secure access to clean energy, focused on structuring and executing tax-oriented investments
• Develop and drive value-optimized strategies to achieve investment goals and decarbonization targets within the desired timeframe
• Leverage expertise in origination, financial analysis, modeling, investing, and energy procurement to build a multi-GW portfolio of offsite clean investments
• Drive the execution of tax equity investments and transferability agreements in projects to deliver economic value, reduce emissions, and expand access to reliable clean energy for Walmart and its communities
• Report on program success, manage new opportunity pipeline and the existing investment portfolio, and support broader strategic initiatives

What youll bring

• Enthusiasm and passion for clean energy investing and development!
• Experience with financial modeling, investment structuring and analytics, preferably but not required to be from the energy sector
• Experience diligencing or evaluating investments or strategic opportunities, including both quantitative and qualitative assessments
• Demonstrated project management capabilities, with experience managing multiple projects and cross-functional initiatives

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
