Sam’s Club is Member obsessed and growing fast. Increasing our Membership base sits at the core of the company’s growth. As Manager of Membership Experience at Sam’s Club, you will play an important part in driving Membership growth for years to come by owning work to improve the end-to-end member experience across join, upgrade, renewal, and onboarding. This position will work out of our Bentonville, AR office and report to the Director of Membership Experience. What You Will Do
- Lead Membership Initiatives: Develop and implement strategies for onboarding new members and engaging current members.
- Collaborate with Product and UX Teams: Design and implement membership experiences aimed at improving join, upgrade, and renewal conversion both digitally and in-club.
- Document Membership Journey: Map out the end-to-end membership journey and identify opportunities to align membership experience with strategic initiatives.
- Partner with Operations: Identify and test new solutions to drive incremental membership growth at the member service desk, checkout, and sales floor.
- Analyze Data and Insights: Work closely with data and insights teams to direct member research and identify key trends and behaviors across member tenure.

Minimum Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience in retail, strategy, membership/subscription, management consulting, or a related field.
- Project Leadership: 3+ years of experience in leading and completing cross-functional projects, and working with Marketing, Finance, Data Science, Product, Operations, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Degree: Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Analytical Skills: Experience in delivering forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting data results.
- Strategic Planning: Background in business strategic planning, leveraging a data-driven, analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in developing dashboards and executive-level presentations.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated record of delivering results in large, complex, matrixed organizations.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Impact-Driven: Must have a drive to make a meaningful impact.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
