Position Summary...

As the Senior Manager of Business Operations eCommerce, you will play a critical role in shaping the success of our seller community by defining and monitoring performance standards, ensuring the adoption of these standards by sellers, and driving continuous improvement through data analysis and stakeholder collaboration. Your leadership will ensure the highest standards of seller performance, enhancing customer satisfaction and achieving our critical performance goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, the ability to manage cross-functional teams and to lead and inspire a team.

What you'll do...

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement strategies to monitor, evaluate, and enhance seller performance, ensuring alignment with Performance Standards objectives. 

  • Lead a team responsible for the operational execution of seller performance programs, including performance monitoring, reporting, and improvement initiatives. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Customer Service, and Data Analytics, to identify and address key drivers of seller performance. 

  • Provide feedback to the Performance Operations Strategy and Programs team based on metrics and KPIs to effectively measure seller performance and operational efficiency. 

  • Manage communication and relationships with key internal stakeholders, providing guidance to improve performance and compliance with platform standards. 

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing solutions to optimize processes and enhance seller engagement. 

  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices related to seller management and performance optimization. 

  • Build, maintain and own process to ensure Product Roadmap and initiatives are meeting the strategic direction and needs of Seller Performance, Health, and Trust. 
     

You'll sweep us off our feet.. 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred. 

  • 7-10 years of experience in operations management, with a focus on seller performance management or seller/vendor relations, preferably in an e-commerce or online Marketplace. 

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a high-performing team. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive decisions based on data. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships at all levels. 

  • Deep understanding of e-commerce operations and marketplace dynamics. 

  • Experience with data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related area and 5 years’ experience in eCommerce merchandising, site operations, business management, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in eCommerce merchandising, site operations, business management, information technology, computer science or related area.
