Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Internal Communications and Change Management to lead and execute comprehensive communication strategies that support enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact how we communicate internally, engage associates, and drive a strong, collaborative culture. The ideal candidate will have expertise in change management, corporate communications, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring that employees are informed, engaged, and empowered throughout transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative internal communication and change strategies, including digital transformation, associate engagement, process improvements, and cultural shifts. Lead initiatives to foster associate engagement and productivity.
  • Craft clear, compelling messaging that aligns with business objectives and resonates with diverse audiences, including speeches, presentations, and thought leadership content.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging across all communication channels, including email, intranet, presentations, town halls, and leadership briefings.
  • Partner with leadership, CTO Operations, HR, and change management teams to assess organizational readiness and tailor communication strategies.
  • Work closely with senior leaders and change champions to drive alignment and reinforce key messages.
  • Create and maintain accessible communication channels for timely information dissemination. Utilize various communication formats, including digital platforms, events, and interactive sessions, to enhance message impact.
  • Measure the effectiveness of communication efforts through employee feedback, surveys, and engagement analytics.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to executives and managers on effective change communication techniques.
  • Develop engaging content such as FAQs, newsletters, executive speeches, video scripts, and success stories to support change initiatives. Develop toolkits, templates, and resources to help teams communicate effectively during periods of change.
  • Design and deliver workshops or training sessions on associate-centric topics and change communication best practices.
  • Leverage technology to improve communication reach and impact (e.g., collaboration tools, internal social media, video updates).

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field (Masters preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in internal communications, change management, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of effective communication and engagement strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in communication tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and digital collaboration platforms.
  • Experience in technology organizations and global teams is a plus.
  • Familiarity with change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci, Kotter) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci) or Communications (e.g., IABC, CIPR).
  • Experience in industries undergoing digital transformation or cultural change.
  • Background in employee engagement, internal branding, or HR communications.

  • Measurable improvements in change adoption rates.
