Position Summary...

Sam’s Club is seeking a Manager, Marketing Operations, Agency & Resource Management, to oversee the day-to-day operations of our agency partnerships and optimize our internal and external marketing resources. In this role, you’ll be a key player in ensuring our agency relationships are productive, cost-effective, and aligned with business goals. You’ll also drive resource planning and allocation to maximize efficiency across marketing initiatives.

What you'll do...

Agency Management:

  • Oversee the administration and operations of Sam’s Club’s agency partnerships, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead annual and quarterly business reviews to ensure agencies are meeting evolving brand needs.
  • Develop scalable feedback frameworks (scorecards, KPIs) to measure agency performance.
  • Support agency evaluations, onboarding, and contract negotiations, working closely with Finance, Legal, and Procurement teams.
  • Ensure competitive pricing from agency partners using historical data and industry benchmarks.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate best practices into Sam’s Club’s agency management strategies.

Resource Management:

  • Oversee the resourcing and allocation of marketing functions, optimizing internal and external resources.
  • Forecast upcoming resource needs using AirTable and flag opportunities for reallocation or investment.
  • Analyze internal vs. external resource costs to drive efficiency and justify new resource investments.
  • Identify workflow optimization opportunities to enhance go-to-market speed.

What You’ll Need:

  • 3+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in Marketing Operations or a related function.
  • Experience managing teams with strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Expertise in running formal RFP/review processes for agencies and strategic partners.
  • Strong understanding of contract negotiation, billing, and reconciliation.
  • Experience in a large, matrixed organization with a track record of cross-functional collaboration.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence at all levels.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for process improvement and strategic problem-solving.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
