What you'll do...

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Data Visualization and Analysis Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on developing and implementing advanced data visualization and analysis solutions for to understand the posture and uncover new insights related to over 1.4 million handheld mobile devices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data visualization, data analysis, and mobile device technologies, with a strong background in engineering and a passion for innovation.

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and implement data visualization and analysis solutions related to the current and potential future for the security posture of handheld mobile devices.
• Develop static reports and a new dynamic sandbox method of reporting investigation via GenAI and ML.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to understand data requirements and deliver effective visualization solutions.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and custom mobile applications.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions and improve user experience.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and team members in best practices for data visualization and analysis.

What you'll bring:

• Experience with the latest trends and technologies in data visualization, mobile devices, and data analysis.
• Experience and direction for how to design and implement a GenAI investigation solution
• The ability to identify the unasked question and use the data to find the answer and visualization to show it in a way that can be understood by engineers and executives (view can be different based on audience)
• Current Experience in PowerBI or Google Data Studio
• Strong experience in Config and Policy testing automation

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 5years’ experience in systems and infrastructure engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.

Option 2: 7 years’ experience in systems and infrastructure engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.

Certification in Security+, GISF, CISSP, CCSP, or GSEC, Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity or related area and 3 years’ experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
