Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that focuses on processing and dispensing of prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region. Unlike a traditional pharmacy, Central Fill is full of automation allowing prescriptions to be filled fast and accurate. But the best part of Central Fill pharmacy is taking care of our patients in the community. While we are not patient facing, our job provides retail pharmacies the ability to spend much deserved time providing clinical services and education to the communities they serve.
We are hiring a Security Manager for our Pharmacy Central Fill in Frederick, MD.
Starting pay: $70,000.00 Annually.
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Emergency Management, Risk Management, Security, or related field and 1 years’ experience in security, emergency management, risk management, law enforcement, fire service, or related areas.
OR 3 years’ experience in security, emergency management, risk management, law enforcement, fire service, or related areas.
Job Description:
Security Managers (SM) manage guard service operations by assigning associates to meet security strategy and company needs, supervising tactical security responses during life safety events and incidents.
The SM will maintain relationships with internal and external partners to promote a safe working environment by leading tactical emergency responses during life safety incidents; providing details to and assisting external first responders during security incidents; ensuring customer service from internal and external partners; and soliciting feedback from customers to ensure security solutions are provided.
The SM will support safety and security protocols, standard operating procedures, training, and security programs by collaborating with business partners and regulatory officials to implement safety and security initiatives; making recommendations regarding security, safety, and compliance improvement opportunities; conducting on-site associate training on existing protocols and creating protocols or site responsibilities; identifying gaps in training for their associates and recommending training solutions to leadership; and ensuring corporate security programs are implemented and regulatory compliance is maintained within assigned facilities.
The SM oversees the hazardous waste program in the facility. and may oversee additional locations as needed. The SM will be required to travel for business needs.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00
