We're looking for a seasoned fit expert to lead the end-to-end fit development strategy across Men’s, Women’s, and Kids’ apparel, with a strong emphasis on 3D innovation and digital workflows. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical design, patternmaking, and cross-functional collaboration—especially in stretch-to-fit categories like leggings and shapewear. You'll be the architect of fit standards and processes, driving quality, consistency, and member satisfaction while influencing product excellence and business performance. What you'll do...
What you'll do
- Lead the fit development strategy: Own and drive the end-to-end fit development process across Men’s, Women’s, and Kids’ apparel. Establish and evolve fit standards, fit blocks, and fit processes in alignment with product development team.
- Champion 3D fit innovation: Leverage your expertise in 3D fitting tools and technologies (e.g., CLO, Browzwear) to streamline development, improve accuracy, and reduce lead times. 3D fit experience is a must for this role.
- Be the expert and architect: You are the go-to authority in fit. Build, refine, and elevate the fit function—creating a best-in-class process that supports quality, consistency, and member satisfaction. Apply deep knowledge of patternmaking, grading, and construction methods, especially for stretch-to-fit apparel such as leggings, bras, and shapewear.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on fit standards and development goals. Communicate updates, resolve issues, and drive initiatives forward with clarity and confidence. Work with sourcing, design, product development, and factory partners to ensure manufacturability and consistency.
- Manage product specifications: Oversee the creation, approval, and lifecycle management of fit-related product specifications. Write and maintain detailed tech packs, construction standards, and prototype notes. Conduct benchmarking, manage sample assortments, and ensure all components meet quality and aesthetic standards.
- Support sourcing and compliance: Ensure sourcing documentation is accurate and complete. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain audit-ready data and support special projects as needed. Partner with vendors to resolve construction challenges and improve production readiness.
- Drive business impact: Analyze data to identify trends, inform strategy, and improve processes. Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership to enhance product offerings and drive financial performance. Engage with wear testing and research teams to validate fit and performance.

What you'll bring
- Extensive experience in apparel technical development with a strong focus on fit, including fit standards, blocks, and processes.
- Proven expertise in 3D fitting tools and digital product development workflows (e.g., CLO, Optitex).
- Strong technical design background, including patternmaking, grading, construction methods, and tech pack creation.
- Experience working with factory vendors to ensure manufacturability and resolve construction challenges.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to build and execute a vision for fit development across multiple categories.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and mentoring talent.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, especially in working with large retail partners like Walmart.
- Analytical and process-driven approach to problem-solving, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, CAD pattern software, and MS Office; experience with 3D tools and digital workflows is highly desired.
- Passion for product excellence and a deep understanding of member needs and expectations

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
