What you'll do...

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in SQL, Power BI, and Python. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business needs, interpreting data, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business performance through data-driven strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Reporting & Visualization: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to present data visually and effectively to stakeholders.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization based on data analysis and stakeholder feedback.
• Python Scripting: Utilize Python for data analysis, automation, and enhancing data processing capabilities.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, requirements, and analytical methodologies.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a strong focus on data analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
• Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis and automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with additional BI tools or programming languages (e.g., R, Tableau) is a plus.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00-$40.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
