About the Position:  

As a Principal UX Designer for Display Ads, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Walmart Connect's Display Ad platform. This platform enables Walmart suppliers and sellers to run high-performing ad campaigns targeting precise audiences at scale—while helping shoppers discover products that enhance their shopping journey. Your role will focus on transforming complex workflows into intuitive, user-friendly experiences that drive both customer satisfaction and business growth.

  • Define experience strategy and set design direction to meet user and business needs.

  • Balance user needs with business goals to deliver impactful results.
  • Rapidly prototype and experiment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Champion Design Thinking across the organization.
  • Communicate with empathy and clarity, aligning stakeholders and teams around a shared vision.
  • Foster collaboration, elevating your team’s skills and design outcomes.
  • Partner with the Design System team to create scalable and consistent experiences. 

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Degree in Product Design, UX, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in UX or product design.
  • A fantastic portfolio showcasing thoughtful and impactful design solutions.
  • Exceptional interaction design, visual design and typography skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 5 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Option 2: 7 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
