Implements improvement initiatives in health informatics and technology by identifying and defining processes that can be achieved through technology solutions; assessing readiness for change; validating return on investment and prioritizing projects accordingly; collaborating with Walmart Technology to adjust technological approaches to ensure positive change; ensuring timely project management from concept to execution; and collaborating with Walmart Technology and vendors to implement sustainable technological processes through the business unit.
Oversees the development and implementation of health information technology solutions for successful management and delivery of clinical care by assessing internal and cross-functional requirements and technical needs to determine long-term health informatics strategy ; leading the search for new and innovative technology solutions, as well as leveraging existing technical solutions; testing, modifying, and recommending new procedures and systems; partnering with Walmart Technology and vendors to design and implement systems and processes that meet medical, legal, and ethical standards; developing solutions that enable system and data integration, database creation, data transfer deliverables, drug safety, risk management, medical writing, and regulatory publishing services.
Oversees quality and integrity of processes, data, and systems by serving as a subject matter expert on health information technology systems; designing a successful health management solution utilizing knowledge of health industry trends, regulations, and policies, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act; staying up-to-date on changes in healthcare service delivery models, payer relations, insurance, regulations, processes, and technology; benchmarking within the industry to source new systems solutions and innovations; partnering with cross-functional teams across the business to implement and integrate informatics and technology systems into Health and Wellness; and developing assessments of key opportunities.

Defines quarterly, yearly and multi-year vision and strategy for a solution by capitalizing on deep technology, business, and domain expertise. Can effectively lead other Product Managers in the development of the strategy. Develops convincing and clear quarterly and annual deliverables,leveraging and understanding Walmart's unique advantages to ultimately deliver solutions, which can support business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or related field and 5 years' experience working in health information technology, health informatics, or related area OR 7 years’ experience working in health information technology, health informatics, or related area.
